About Charles
Charles Oropallo, proud USMC veteran, founded CharlesWorks in June of 1998.
Charles’s company was a one-man operation until 2004. That changed after a new client came to him for help. The client had been unable to get website work completed through the company they had been using. After looking into the situation, Charles discovered that the person who had been handling that client’s website was also running a one-man web business—and had unexpectedly passed away. That left the client without support, access, or a clear path forward. Charles then tracked down enough information through next of kin and other sources to help that client regain control of their website needs. In the process, he was also able to assist nearly all of the deceased web developer’s remaining clients.
That experience made something very clear: a one-man web business can put clients at serious risk if something happens to the owner. As CharlesWorks continued to grow, Charles made sure the company would not operate that way. Since then, CharlesWorks has maintained a team so clients are not dependent on just one person for their website, hosting, email, and support needs.
CharlesWorks has handled over 6,000 websites since its inception. The CharlesWorks team provides web services from start to finish. This includes domain name sales, website hosting, email hosting and website development.
CharlesWorks actually owns and operates its own web hosting infrastructure. This provides the ability for site customizations and direct service not always available elsewhere or through one man show website developers.
